Social Services

This department motivates and encourages women, to work individually and collectively, for the betterment of fellow citizens, regardless of their race, age, ethnicity, and religion. We help and support Canadians to make their lives better so we all can live in peace and harmony. Some of our projects are:

Seniors meet and greet, Hospital visits, Shelter and Back to school supply drive, Winter Kits, Nursing home volunteering, Funeral services, Blood donations, Support for refugees, Matchmaking and more.

world kindness day

ICNA Sisters Windsor and MCNA  Windsor Students collaborated to collect non-perishable food items, hygiene products as well as gift cards for families that are being served by the Children's Aid Society of Windsor. These items were received by CAS Coordinator Shannon Taylor.  

Bake sale to support nisa homes

A bake sale was organized at Dominion Masjid to raise money for Nisa Homes, which is a shelter home for Muslim women and children. Dawah pamphlets, literature as well as flyers for ICNA Sisters Windsor Quran Classes were distributed. 

food delivery- Windsor youth center 

ICNA Sisters Windsor delivered cooked food to the Windsor Youth Center. WYC provides food and essentials to youth aged between 16 - 25. 

food drive for welcome center

Welcome Center is a Women and Families Shelter Home, where they are provided a safe space along with food and essentials. ICNA Sisters Windsor held a Donation Drive for them and collected non-perishable food items, diapers, hygiene kits and other essential items. 

Senior's day lunch

ICNA Sisters Windsor arranged Senior's Day Lunch for our elders in the community. A delicious and healthy lunch was served as the ladies gathered and enjoyed the afternoon. 

hygiene kits in collaboration with iswa, islamic relief

ICNA Sisters Windsor collaborated with ISWA and ICNA Relief and created Corona Virus hygiene kits to be distributed to vulnerable communities.
