A beautiful verse from the Quran has inspired us to initiate, participate, and collaborate with other organizations in developing projects and causes that are aimed at bringing positive change in society. We are committed to empowering women through skill-building and leadership opportunities where they can voice their concerns, and develop new ideas to make life better for all Canadians. Some of our projects include Participation in Canada Day Events, Peace Walk, International Women’s Day Events, and much more.

A Call to Muslim Women to Vote!

ICNA Sisters Windsor organized an info session for Muslim women within the community to educate them of their civic duty to vote. Information about political parties, their policies and representatives was also shared.

Earth Day

ICNA Sisters Windsor celebrated Earth Day on April 27th with the community by planting trees at the Ganatchio Trail, Little River Ext -Windsor. Volunteers along with their families came to support the event.

Remarkable Muslim Women of Windsor

On International Women's Day, ICNA Sisters of Windsor organized a brunch to recognize Remarkable Muslim Women within our community. These amazing ladies were from various backgrounds including Medicine, Education and Social Work.

Green Square Campaign

To remember the victims and survivors of the Quebec Mosque Shooting that took place on Jan 29, 2017, green square buttons are worn. ICNA Sisters of Windsor participated in the cause along with the Mayor of Windsor, Drew Dilkins. who also wore the button and expressed solidarity with the victims and survivors on his social media platform. City Hall was lit up in green as well.

Walk of Solidarity - Our London Family

On June 6th, ICNA Sisters Windsor collaborated with ICNA Relief, MAC, Nisa Homes, and other community partners to participate in a Solidarity Walk to remember the Afzaal Family.
