"Istituto smart: multilinguismo, sostenibilità e digitalizzazione"
Start date: 01-09-2024 End date: 30-11-2025
Key Action: Learning Mobility of Individuals Action Type: Short-term projects for mobility of learners and staff in school education
BACKGROUND
This project focuses on improving the Institute through the European Union. We aim at implementing new teaching methodologies such as CLIL to enhance student learning and to engage students in socially relevant topics such as environmental sustainability, including those from underprivileged categories. Finally, we aim at streamlining normal administrative processes by enhancing the linguistic and digital competencies of the administrative staff.
OBJECTIVES
Smart Institute will have the following objectives: 1. Raise awareness among students about green issues through gardening activities, such as creating an educational vegetable garden in collaboration with foreign peers. 2. Enhance the linguistic and digital competencies of the teachers through a course in Spain that combines CLIL and digital devices for teaching purposes. 3. Develop basic English skills for the administrative staff of the Institute through the use of digital tools.
The activities on sustanaibility students are going to do at our school and at the hosting schools aim at raising awareness of green issues through gardening activities such as the creation of an educational garden in collaboration with foreign peers.
IMPACT
The school will be able to consolidate its inclusive practices by allocating part of the grants to fewer opportunities. At the same time, we will have the opportunity to make our administration and management of European projects more efficient by enrolling part of the administrative staff in digital administration courses. Similarly, we will benefit from improved teaching methods: teachers will acquire linguistic competencies for the CLIL method, using digital means.
