FINAL OUTPUT

On the national tree festival, three holm oaks were planted at IC3 "Don Bosco - Francesco D’Assisi", in the presence of the Policemen of the Vesuvius park section.

This initiative is part of the objectives of the Erasmus Project KA122- 2024/25- "SMART INSTITUTE: MULTILINGUALISM, SUSTAINABILITY AND DIGITALIZATION", active at our school and aimed at raising awareness among secondary school students of green issues through  gardening activities such as the creation of an educational garden in collaboration with foreign peers.

Councilor Laura Vitiello and Mayor Luigi Mennella were present for the municipal administration.

These were  Goals of this activity: 

·       bringing students closer to nature and create an environment in which to explore, love and respect;

·       promoting all the experiences that allow children to acquire a series of skills, including observation, manipulation, understanding cultural similarities and differences;

·       bringing students closer to social and economic issues that concern environmental sustainability;

·       raise awareness among secondary school students of green issues through      gardening activities such as the creation of an educational garden in collaboration with foreign peers.
