Retreat groups:

  1. Communal Retreat (at local branch temple)

  2. Self-Retreat (at home via Zoom)

We encourage all participants who have the ability to visit a local branch temple to do so. The online self-retreat option is for those who are unable to participate in person.

In-person Retreat:

Be punctual for check-in at your local branch temple.

Come with an open and respectful mind to learn and practice Buddhism.

Take this opportunity to practice in harmony with others.

Online Retreat:

Participating from home often comes with more distractions. Please make the proper preparations to ensure a smooth retreat experience. This includes communicating your plans and schedules with other people who share your living space, preparing meals in advance, and making sure you have a suitable environment for the duration of the retreat.

In addition to having the same schedule as the in-person retreat, online participants are encouraged to supplement their retreat with additional sessions of "diligent practice" which occur before and after the main retreat.
