interviewer: About how long have you been teaching?
“I’ve been teaching for 8 years”
I: How many grades have you taught? Which one was your favorite?
“I’ve taught 6th, 7th, 10th, and 12th grades. Personally, 6th was my favorite.”
I: Where did you go to college?
“Manhattan Bille College”
I: What’s your favorite or most memorable moment in all your time teaching?
“I must say my most memorable last year was the most memorable and challenging. The students were extremely resilient and flexible. They were very patient and helped me with technology and online stuff. I would say my students reflected on me, I not only taught them, but I learned from them a lot too.”
What do you want kids or colleagues to know about you?
“Although this is only my second year teaching at WMS, I’m very welcome here and feel at home. Thank you for ensuring that.”
Was there something in particular that made you want to teach math?

Did you have a role model?
“Yes, my mom and my seventh-grade math teacher were my role models growing up.”

“I like dogs!"
What was the hardest concept to teach and learn?
“Combining terms or percents was definitely the hardest.”
“Which was the most fun or interesting concept to teach?”
“Maybe solving equations and algebra.”
