Campaigning

Year 2 children looked on line for some protests songs to learn. We practiced these before protesting through the school. 'Our world is fantastic, no more plastic' and Ho,ho, hey, hey, climate action, when? Today!' 'We are unstoppable, another world is possible!'

We walked right through the school, stopping lessons and telling everyone how important it is to look after our planet.

When the children realised they could do something to reduce our plastic waste they independently made recycling bins and told everyone how to recycle.

The children researched environmental protests from around the globe and decided they needed to make some eye-catching posters.

We posted our posters on Twitter to spread the message!

Reception and Year 1 learnt all about the ocean and how plastic was effecting the environment.

They decided to do something about it! They created posters to encourage people to stop using plastic.

Plastics in the oceans is harming the creatures.

We decided that we wanted to see if we could receive our milk in glass bottles instead of using plastic!

We wrote letters to the milk company.
