Parciau Cenedlaethol / National Parks

Mae Parciau Cenedlaethol yn diroedd sy'n cael eu gwarchod gan Awdurdodau'r Parciau. Maent yn ardaloedd o dir sy'n cael eu hystyried i fod yn brydferth iawn. Mae 15 Parc Cenedlaethol yn y DU. Mae tri o'r rhain yng Nghymru. Mae'r bywyd gwyllt a'r planhigion sydd yn y parciau hyn yn cael eu gwarchod oherwydd bod rhai ohonynt yn brin iawn neu dan fygythiad o ddiflannu’n llwyr. Mae'r trefi, y pentrefi a'r safleoedd hanesyddol yn y Parciau Cenedlaethol hefyd wedi'u gwarchod.

National Parks are lands protected by the Park Authorities. They are areas of land that are considered to be very beautiful. There are 15 National Parks in the UK. Three of these are in Wales. The wildlife and plants in these parks are protected because some are very rare or threatened with extinction. The towns, villages and historic sites in the National Parks are also protected.

The weather has turned a bit warmer and we are beginning to welcome the summer. Your task this week is to go on a walk and observe all the changes around us. Can you collect some natural items such as flowers, different coloured leaves, sticks etc and make a nature related picture or a collage? You are welcome to make anything you like, and be as creative as you wish. Here are some ideas:
