Pupils developed a greater understanding of Merthyr's local history and the importance it had around the world during the Industrial Revolution.

Flipgrid was a great way of providing simple pupil-voice evidence; easy to access through a code and pupils found it easy to navigate and create short videos.

Plenty of opportunities for DCF coverage within this project - all strands of the DCF were accessed through e-safety and citing sources, collaborating and producing multimedia stories, searching and exploring databases linked to the Ironworks.

Infrastructure issues with school WiFi meant that some activities had to be completed in pairs rather than individually.

It was difficult to collect the Microsoft Sway and JIT5 work from the pupils to upload to Google Sites. Sharing Microsoft Sways with the class teacher proved to be difficult.
