Reporting an Absence/Holiday Forms

Please follow the links below to report an absence or to inform us of any upcoming holidays.

Please note, holidays are not authorised and will affect attendance. Ideally, we ask that holidays are taken during school holidays. INSET days are planned for the end or start of school terms to allow families to book holidays for cheaper rates. If attendance rates are low, holidays during term time can lead to EWO involvement.

Attendance is monitored closely following the Blaenau Gwent Attendance Pathway. Letters are regularly sent in line with this pathway which is followed by all schools in the local authority.

Please complete the following form if you are going on holiday during term time. We ask that you refrain from taking your child away during school time as it is proven that attendance directly impacts on educational achievement.
