Here at Bryn Bach Primary, we are extremely passionate about our purpose-led curriculum. The four purposes and pupil voice are at the heart of our planning and we strive to provide all of our pupils an INCREDIBLE learning journey from the moment they start with us until they leave for secondary school.
We want our young people to be ready for life in the 21st century and ensure that the three cross-curricular competencies are developed through our holistic approach to learning. Our core values: kindness, happiness and hard work ensure that pupil wellbeing is monitored as we know our children will develop to their full potential if they are happy.
We have revised our vision with all stakeholders this academic year.
At Bryn Bach, we are committed to unlocking the potential of EACH and every person in our school community.
Our team are passionate and want to ensure that our exciting, holistic curriculum engages and inspires our pupils: providing a vast range of learning opportunities for all.
We have been working hard to design our curriculum over the past few years. Our curriculum design ensures the three cross-curricular competencies are developed through our classroom topics. Our staff use termly themes to cover as many areas of learning and experience as possible. We are passionate to ensure learning is relevant and adapt our planning accordingly to changes in local, national and global events. Our aim is to provide real-life, authentic opportunities in class.
We want our children to leave Bryn Bach with a broad range of skills to help them to continue developing into INCREDIBLE citizens of Wales and beyond. Our purpose-led curriculum, inspired by pupil voice, ensures engagement, challenge, and that authentic learning experiences are provided.
