Our School Council are a group of pupils from Year 2- Year 6 that are responsible for improving our school, making decisions and planning events in the school calendar.
They are responsible for collecting their pupils opinions on matters that effect them and contributing during meetings to ensure pupils voices are heard.
Heddlu Bach are team of Year 6 pupils. They have regular meetings to discuss any issues that have arisen in school or the local community. They will then plan and take action to resolve these issues.
The children also work as role models and have opportunities to support younger children with their learning. They will teach younger children about being safe such as firework and road safety. They also take an active role in promoting Anti-Bulling week and Safer Internet day.
Our Criw Cymraeg are an active group of Year 2- Year 6 pupils that promote the use of the Welsh language around our school and are the driving force in our efforts towards acheiving our Silver Cymraeg Campus award.
Criw Cymraeg members meet weekly to discuss how they can improve the use of the Welsh language around our school. The Criw Cymraeg are responsibile for providing the school with fortnightly phrases that they must use. Every fortnight, there is a Welsh assembly where the Criw Cymraeg give out certificates to pupils that speak Welsh around the school.
Our Equality Champions group is made up of Key Stage 2 pupils. They are responsible for ensuring our school is an inclusive environment for all of our pupils!
They promote inclusion and diversity within our school through the work they do. They play an active role, setting up games and helping on our yards, leading assemblies and informing the rest of our school about respecting the rights of others.
Our Digital Pioneers are a group of pupils in KS2 that have a flair for ICT!
