In 2024, Mrs Targett won the award of 'Family Champion' at the Blaenau Gwent volunteer awards. This outstanding achievement is testament to the hard work Mrs Targett does and her dedication to her role.

In Autumn Term 2023, we received our Family and Community Engagement Gold Accreditation.
With the lead of Mrs Targett, we were awarded the 'Heart of the Community' award in Autumn 2024. This award is in recognition of the fantastic community work Mrs Targett and our school does.

With the help of our Criw Cymraeg, led my Miss Locke, we are currently working towards achieving our 'Silver' award.

In Autumn 2023, we were the 'Overall Winners' of Nantyglo and Blaina in Bloom!
In Autumn 2024, we were winners of the 'School Category' of the competition. We look forward to continuing our success this year!
