Ysgol Parc y Bont

We at Ysgol Parc y Bont believe that a school is the heart of a community. To ensure a successful community it is vitally important that we as a school develop the skills and nurture the knowledge that will enable all pupils to succeed, not necessarily academically but in life in general.

We intend to ensure that all pupils leave us having had rich experiences and want to ensure that they can cope with life beyond education. We strive to create happy, confident, independent, respectful individuals who enjoy trying new things and with the resilience to overcome adversity to ensure success.

To ensure success we believe it is vitally important that every member of the community has a voice to influence the development and direction of the school. The relationship between all the stakeholders and the mutual respect that is shown is influential in creating individuals who will be able to cope and live successfully within society in the future.

The village of Llanddaniel Fab is a village that drips with history, it is vitally important that we as a school educate not only the pupils but the society about these events. It is a unique village in terms of its landscapes and its people. The school's pupils, like the island's society, are unique throughout the country in terms of the environmental factors that are and will affect and challenge them in the future, it is important that we are able to share information and develop society's understanding to ensure that they are aware of the world around them, and own the skills to be able to cope and positively influence the future. All these aspects working together will hopefully create a bright, successful community.
