Sickness Policy
Dear Warren School Parents and Families,
In order for us to keep all our students and staff healthy, we must do our best to follow guidance from the Vermont Department of Health and the Agency of Education. I appreciate your cooperation with assessing your child in the morning to see if they are well enough to attend school.
When to keep your child home:
Here is a flow chart to help determine whether or not your child should come to school. If a student is not well enough to be able to learn or participate in school, please keep them home to rest.
Illness messaging from the district can be found here
Absences:
If your child will be absent from school, please complete this online form.
COVID-19 Testing:
If your child should be symptomatic at school and a rapid COVID-19 test is indicated, a parent will be called and asked to take the child home. We can send a COVID-19 rapid test home with you, but we are no longer permitted to conduct testing at school.
Please visit our district's COVID-19 website for the latest guidance.
Thank you for your cooperation and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Take good care,
Deirdre Fennelly, RN
