I really enjoyed creating my own country! When I first learned about this assignment, I was excited to get started. However, once I began, I found it difficult to create a government system unlike the one we already have in the United States. I felt I had a clear understanding of monarchy, oligarchy, and the democracy that came out of Ancient Athens, but I wanted mine to be progressive for today, and unlike anything we've had before. In the end, I'm proud of what I accomplished. My father told me that I created a system that would give the Founding Fathers something to think about!
