American Themed Lunch

On Thursday 6 October 2022, we have our first Census Day of this academic year. The purpose of this is to determine how much, financially, the school receives as part of the Dedicated School Grant therefore we are keen to get as much interest as possible.

The theme of this Census Day is “American Diner”. The foods available are outlined on the menu below supplied by Cucina.

To ensure that we record the maximum possible number of pupils, we are allocating an American Diner lunch to all children who are eligible for a Free School Meal. This covers those eligible for Universal Free School Meals in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 and those who are eligible for the means tested Free School Meals in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. For those children, they are welcome to bring additional food if they are not used to having a meal provided by the school but please remember that they will be provided with a complete meal. For all other children, they are still welcome to have the census meal provided by the academy, and there will still be cost applied.

All meals need to be booked on ParentPay like our normal routine. As this menu is a new release for this term, parents/carers will still need to ensure that it is booked even if they have pre booked meals for the whole term.
