Overview

Level changes require creating a new class to preserve historical data. Then, inactivating the old class.

Instructor and lane changes can be made anytime and will instantly apply to all past and future records.

NOTE: Each level has predetermined age ranges. When changing a class, you will use the age range guide provided. Remember, weekday morning classes are always the lowest age range for the level.

Why do we have age ranges for classes?In our experience, our swimmers thrive when they are in class with their peers learning new skills. For example, we do not want to enroll a Goldfish that is 3.0 into an average age over 6.0. There will be a difference in the size of the body, the difference in maturity of understanding directions, and the execution of the skill. Our ideal mix is children within 2 years of each other.If a swimmer is enrolled or waitlisted for a class outside their age range, approval from the Site Supervisor is required. The Site Supervisor understands the class dynamics and can ensure the experience remains successful and enjoyable for all participants.
