OUR VISION
Equipping Every Student with ICT Skills to Navigate the Future
OUR MISSION
The ICT department aims to provide adequate infrastructure and streamlined processes in order to support innovation and to enhance the competency of its users.
Learning @ Huamin
At Huamin Primary School, ICT is seamlessly integrated into daily teaching and learning to empower every Huaminite to become a self-directed, collaborative and responsible digital learner.
Our ICT programmes are aligned with the 21st Century Competencies (21CC) and the Digital Literacy and Technological Skills (DLTS), equipping students with the digital knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Through a progressive ICT Baseline Skills Framework, every Huaminite develops essential digital competencies from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Students begin by building foundational digital skills, such as navigating online learning platforms and keyboard familiarisation, before progressing towards more advanced competencies including online collaboration, content creation, data representation and computational thinking.
These ICT skills are intentionally infused into the curriculum across different subjects, enabling students to apply technology meaningfully and authentically in their learning.
