Guidelines for Participation in Online Meetings -- Live Lessons

Your teachers will be using the Google Meet for each class each school day to connect with students and to deliver instruction. If a student is not able to participate in these online class meetings, parents should contact their teacher(s) to discuss other options. However, for the optimal online experience, all students should plan on connecting daily using Google Meet. Google Meet is available on computers, tablets and mobile phones.

Recommendations while participating in online classes:

  1. Check your surroundings that will be included in the background. Make sure there are not private or inappropriate items on display.

  2. Have a quiet area to participate.

  3. Mute your microphone while you are not talking.

  4. If requested, use the chat feature to ask questions.

  5. Turn off the camera if uncomfortable. You can continue to participate with audio only.
