Enabling the International Keyboard

1. Log in to your Chromebook

2. Click on the button with the time

3. At the bottom right, select the time.

4. Select Settings. 

5. On the left panel, select Advanced Languages and inputs.

6. Under "Languages and inputs," select “Inputs and keyboards.”

7. Under "Input methods," select  +  Add input methods.

8. Select the “English (US) with International keyboard”   +  Add.

9. Click on “English (US) with International keyboard” to enable.

10. Use these shortcuts with AltGr (Alt key right of space bar).

Enabling Google Translate

Using Google Translate will allow you to view selections of text and entire website in your preferred language.  It will even read selections of text aloud in many languages.  See this guide for installation and use.
