HSD provided Chromebooks have a Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) compliant filter applied to all student users. This filter is through the student Google account and will also be applied to any Chrome Browser that a HSD student logs into.

With the use of Google Meet and other remote services teachers and schools will be using online phone services to make calls. These services use phone lines that are not local and will show up in a variety of ways to your phone caller ID. This could include:

• Unidentified Number

• Caller ID from another state, most common in New York

• Identifying the service that is being used such as Hangouts Meet

If you have setup a spam call blocker and set the system to block all unidentified numbers you could be blocking calls from your teacher or school.
