Video Auditions

REMINDER: IN PERSON IS BEST

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Homeschool Performing Arts. Please Note: It is much preferable to audition in person, if at all possible try to adjust your schedule so that you can attend one of the scheduled audition times. 

Understanding that this is not always possible, we are providing the option to video audition. Although not ideal because this does not give the casting team the opportunity to work with you personally, it is a way for students who absolutely cannot attend either audition time to participate in HPA. 

Follow all instructions carefully, if instructions are not followed it may disqualify you from casting consideration. 

VIDEO AUDITION DEADLINE

The DEADLINE to receive ALL video auditions is July 29. 

We will confirm receipt of your video as soon as possible. If you do not receive a confirmation within two business days of submission, it is your responsibility to contact us and find out why. DO NOT submit your video, then ignore your email. If there is a problem we will let you know by email.

We suggest you send your video in early so that if there are any technical issues there will be time to address them before the deadline. 

REGISTER FIRST

To get the show-specific audition information, you must go through the audition registration process on our website. Read all information and register. When you choose your audition time select: “Video Audition.” Once registered you will receive an email with the music and the acting requirements for the show(s) you selected as well as a link to the detailed instructions for auditions.
