Student Injury

When a student receives an injury, they will be sent to the nurse's office to be assessed by the school nurse. The nurse will contact parents if it is deemed necessary. 

Student Medication

If your child requires medication during the day, please contact the nurse to complete the medication release form. Students are not allowed to keep medicines in their backpacks during the day.

Exclusion from school for illness

Children are sent home if:

• The child is too ill/injured to function

• The child has a fever of 100+ degrees

• Vomiting

• Rash or weeping sores

• Immunizations not up to date

• Suspected contagious disease
