Smart Watches
If your child's watch has cell phone capabilities (recording, texting, calling, browsing, SMART capability) they need to have the watch off and in the backpack until the end of the day. Additionally, per HISD’s Electronic Device Policy, SMART watches will be treated as cell phones. As a result, SMART watches are strictly prohibited during state testing.
