I moved all over the world as a child, from New York City, to Prague, to Lima, Peru, to Mexico City, to Portland, Oregon and Shanghai, China! I graduated from New York University with a degree in Film. After college, I worked in Seattle with a documentary director. Then, in 2012 I moved to Houston to get married--I’ve been here ever since!
In 2014, I began teaching. Being an educator is one of my many passions. I love getting to know my students as people and learning with them. This will be my eleventh year teaching, my fourth year at Harvard, and my first year in Specialty! I am so grateful to be a teacher here--I love the Harvard community!
My hobbies include reading, painting, sewing, crafts, gardening, singing and playing music and spending time with my friends and family. I have three amazing daughters; Spike (8), Ziggy (6) and Rocket (3). I also have a cat name Momo, a dog named Appa, and a Madagascar hissing cockroach named Hisserella (Spike is obsessed with bugs)! 😆
