Physical Education

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Tijerina and I am the Physical Education teacher at Harvard ES. This is my 6th year of teaching P.E. at Harvard. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary studies. Before serving as the P.E. teacher I taught science for 13 years. I had the pleasure of teaching high school science, middle school science, but spent most of my science career as a 5th grade science teacher. 

When I am not at Harvard I enjoy spending time with my children and friends. I love to take road trips with my dog exploring National Parks and car camping.  I enjoy hiking, cycling, cooking and weekend getaways. I am a native Houstonian. I am looking forward to this school year- it is going to be another great year!
