Specialty classes at Harvard Elementary provide enrichment for students. In an effort to acknowledge and celebrate principled students, specialty teachers will use "Excellent Eagle Tickets" in Kinder-2nd grade to encourage and highlight positive behaviors. In 3rd-5th grade, students earn Eagle Bucks! All students with two or less reflection sheets at the end of the six week grading cycle can participate in the specialty rewards day!
Student behavior and student participation during specialty classes will both be reflected in their letter grade on their progress report and report card. If students are assigned three or more reflection sheets from any specialty teacher during a six week grading cycle or one office referral in any class, they will not participate in Donovan Park rewards day.
