Learning how to draw an oblique cube

To draw it correctly in oblique projection three main rules must be followed:

• Draw the front or side view of the object.

• All measurements drawn backwards are half the original measurement.

• 45 degrees is the angle for all lines drawn backwards.

Rules for Isometric Sketching

In the isometric drawing, the vertical lines will stay vertically, whereas the horizontal lines are drawn at an angle of 30-degree to the horizontal plane. 

Lesson 2

Use the skills we learnt on the first lesson and apply it to these images. 

Use the 30/60 set square and T-square and choose what ones you want to draw.
