Ms. Sylvester's students build custom ofrendas for their day of the dead celebration. Students made them from a variety of materials and gave them custom decorations and pictures to honor family, friends, pets and cultural figures they have lost. Some ofrendas were build from cardboard and tape in the classroom, and others were made of heavier material like plywood in the maker space.
