Thank you for visiting my page. I'd like to give you an idea of who I am whilst you are here.
My name is Sarah and I live in West Yorkshire with my family. I am very appreciative to live where I do because there are so many beautiful places to explore.
I love learning about people and what makes them tick, so travelling is one of my passions because I get to experience different cultures and ways of living. I also have an interest in history, science and art because they help me to learn about how we are all shaped.
I am passionate about counselling because I learn a lot from my clients - I am often humbled and inspired by the courage that people show in facing their difficulties. I am inspired and fulfilled by the huge transformative changes that my clients make in themselves and their lives despite the challenges they have faced.Â
For nearly a decade, I have worked in the voluntary sector, helping vulnerable survivors of childhood abuse and domestic violence who struggle to manage with daily life. Also, for nearly a decade, I have coached and mentored individuals seeking recovery from codependency and dysfunctional relationships. Throughout my counselling career, I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds looking to achieve manageability in their lives and increased wellbeing in themselves following on from personal emotional trauma.
I also hold the following professional qualifications and training:
BSc (Hons) Health Sciences (Psychology & Mental Health
Diploma - Therapeutic Counselling
Level 3 Therapeutic Counselling
Certificate in Telephone & Online Counselling
