9-12 Programming

9-12 GT/HiP Students

• GT and HiP students 9-12 will work with their teachers and counselors to determine which Honors and AP classess are appropriate for their schedule.
• GT and HiP students will have access to an extended bank of elective courses based on their interests and areas of identification
• GT and HiP students 9-12 may work toward earning .125 credits per quarter by participating in a passion project
• Students must fill out the project interest form in order to initiate the process
• Students will be expected to complete the independent project as well as the affective work in the Google Classroom in order to receive credit
• Credit can be applied to electives or to a content area (depending on the nature of the project)
• The project guidelines/timeline/details will be determined using the HOPE Independent Study Form
