eCYBERMISSION is a web-based science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) competition free for students in grades 6-9. Teams must choose a Mission Challenge, then identify a specific community problem that can be addressed through research and experiments. This year’s Mission Challenges include alternative sources of energy; environment; food, health, and fitness; forces and motion; national security and safety; robotics; and technology.

Colorado Free Application Day caps off College Application Month, a six-week, statewide campaign that encourages high school seniors to successfully submit an application to a higher education program and file their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The application for the 2019 “Embracing All” Academy Student Art Contest and Teaching Support is now available. The Office of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education will honor an art student who demonstrates the theme of celebrating diversity through fine art. The winner and entering teacher will be invited and honored at the CLDE Academy Conference in the spring.
Students must be full-time in K-12; they may write the narrative in their native language, or, for grades K-2, be scripted by an adult; artwork must express the student's views around the theme of “Embracing All” (Examples: photograph, drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, fiber, digital/electronic art, etc...).
Applications will be due no later than 11:59 p.m., Feb. 13, 2019.
