The #808Reads statewide challenge consists of four quarterly challenges, and special seasonal challenges. Readers log their reading minutes and earn badges in the Beanstack App. 

#808Reads Challenges encourage you to continue to improve your reading comprehension skills. The more reading you do, the more opportunity you have to build important literacy skills while discovering the joys of independent reading. 

The #808Reads program utilizes Beanstack, a reading tracking app, to encourage students and provide teachers and librarians data on students’ free-choice reading.
