Home of Our Own (HOOO) helps Howard County residents turn empty spaces into real homes. By providing essential furniture and household goods at no cost, we support individuals and families facing hardship as they regain stability. We are proud to be the only organization in the county offering this service free of charge to clients and partner agencies.
Thanks to the essential furniture and household items donated by this generous community, Home of Our Own is able to fill homes for an average of $360 each. That's only $30 a month to help a family get a fresh start in a safe and comfortable space.

Thank you to First Evangelical Lutheran Church for their generous donation earlier this month. As a long-time supporter, the church's continued partnership means a great deal to Home of Our Own. This gift will help furnish local families' homes with the essential furniture and household items needed to create comfortable, functioning spaces to call their own.
