Thank you for helping Home of Our Own provide Howard County residents with needed furniture and household items at no cost to them.
We focus on basic essentials that our clients need to make functional, comfortable homes. We accept only ready-to-use items that are free of damage, rips, tears, or stains - items that we'd be proud to have in our own homes. Our goal is to help our clients start anew with dignity, hope and their own welcoming homes.
Please refer to our Current Needs below for items needed to replenish our inventory, as well as our donation criteria.
If you have household goods or furniture to donate, please click below to complete a donor web form.
We are 100% volunteer staffed, so it may be two-to-three days before you hear back from us. We pick up all donations within Howard County generally within three to four weeks. There is no charge for pickups. We do not have a staffed donation drop-off site at this time.
