Three Ways to Give
Community support from individuals, businesses, and organizations is what allows us to help those in need. Without your generous gifts, we would not be able to do this work to help our neighbors. There are three easy ways to donate to Home of Our Own to allow us to fulfill our mission.
A monetary donation is fast, easy and efficient way to help. Here are just a few ways your tax-deductible donations are used:
To purchase gas for the van we use for pick-ups and deliveries
To purchase new household goods such as pillows and bathroom necessities
To purchase supplies we need to clean donations to ensure household goods are delivered in ready-to-use condition
We accept basic essentials that our clients need to make a functional, comfortable home. Our goal is to help our clients start anew with dignity and hope by providing ready-to-use items that we would be proud to have in our own homes. We also accept newly purchased items. Please check our ACCEPT LIST and the item restrictions before donating.
We have four Amazon wish lists of smaller items that are needed by our clients. Many are items that must be new (such as toilet plungers, shower mats, and pillows). Others are smaller home goods that clients need, but we may not always have in inventory. Items are shipped directly to us so they are ready to deliver when needed.
