The Association of Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASACCU) was founded in 1999 by a group of Student Affairs practitioners in Catholic higher education who were seeking to foster community and communication among student affairs professionals working in higher ed.

ASACCU seeks to promote the exploration and sharing of knowledge to further holistic student development founded on Catholic mission, values, and identity. ASACCU provides professional development opportunities for those working in student affairs at Catholic colleges and universities.

As Catholic higher education senior student affairs officers, our lived mission is to seek and provide opportunities to inform and equip students to advance their personal, intellectual, and spiritual growth within a framework of Catholic values. The Association of Catholic Colleges & Universities (ACCU) offers a variety of resources to help individuals in this role.

Each year, ACCU offers a conference specially designed for Senior Student Affairs Officers. Stimulating speakers and roundtable discussions at this gathering help attendees address contemporary needs.

Principles of Good Practice for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities

The purpose of these principles is to provide a framework for student affairs professionals at Catholic colleges and universities in their reflection and conversation, staff development, and planning and assessment. These principles are born out of our Catholic tradition and shared across our many and diverse institutions. This guide is a tool to support and assist the transformative work of student affairs practice and can be used to catalyze discussion with a broad array of leaders across Catholic higher education.

Student Affairs Job Board

The Holy Cross Higher Education Network works to assemble colleagues by affinity-type to encourage collaboration and networking. Several groups of higher education professional serving at Holy Cross affiliated institutions have created a space for shared dialogue, resource sharing, and professional networking.
