When viewing AR makeup, it is important to remember that depending on how much makeup a person has on already, the lighting, and how you have calibrated the products, the AR makeup could look unnatural. This is especially true if you only intend to use 1 product category (i.e. just lipsticks). It can stand out more on the face where there isn't AR makeup and not look as natural overall.
In those cases we often recommend creating a beauty filter, which is a set of generally neutral, subtle products that aren't meant to represent any actual products you have, but help what a user sees on a screen appear more natural.
For example, if you are displaying lipsticks and eyeshadows, you may want to also have an 'always on' beauty filter of a light foundation that smooths the skin, blusher to give some warmth, and a simple mascara or eyeliner to look more natural with the eyeshadow.
You can group multiple beauty filter products from different categories into a group or Look, and apply them individually or as a group to any/all physical products or Looks you've created.
Foundation: try this first to add smoothing to skin, but not really colour so opacity set very low
Glow: not really a product type, but an effect you can apply to create a radiance, used with Foundation
Concealer/Highlighter: add brightening under eyes or around face, used with Foundation
Blusher/Bronzer: add a bit of colour/contouring to face, used with Foundation
Eyeliner/Mascara/Eyeshadow: sometimes used when displaying single eye/face/lip/Looks products to make it look more natural
Lipstick: sometimes used when displaying single face/eye/Looks products to make it look more natural
Create your individual products from categories
group in a Look or Other group type to view together and adjust.
Make note of of the CMS ID/URL
Integrate:
Developers can add the ID as a global, 'always on' Look/set of AR makeup to show with any/all other products
You can add to any Looks/Products in CMS by adding the ID to each item as additional makeup to apply
