When using glyphs, create a 10x10 grid like the one illustrated here, and place it proportionally within the composition’s grid or layout in the designated glyph area. Glyphs placed in this grid should be exactly one or two grid units wide. It is recommended to utilize the full 10x10 grid for larger applications while keeping smaller and digital applications, more compact with fewer blocks.
For large-scale physical applications— as walls, windows, fields, and vehicles —the grid may be extended as needed.
The grid should always be extended by two units, never by one.
