The Program Team is responsible for designing and delivering the core programming of HOBY’s World Leadership Congress (WLC), creating an inspiring, impactful experience for ambassadors and volunteers alike. Led by Vice Chair of Program, Leah Barteldes (she/her), the team oversees workshops, mainstage programming, and extracurricular activities. The team’s efforts are divided into three specialized squads—Curriculum, Production, and Activities—each focused on key aspects of the WLC experience.

As the Curriculum Director for HOBY’s World Leadership Congress (WLC), you will oversee the design and delivery of impactful workshops and curriculum-driven program elements that align with the WLC's learning objectives. This leadership role involves managing and coaching a team of Workshop Managers, as well as coordinating pre-seminar preparation and on-site execution of workshops.

Recruit, onboard, and train Workshop Managers, providing pre-seminar info sessions and written materials.
Guide Workshop Managers in planning and conducting all workshops and curriculum elements during the WLC.
Develop and deliver volunteer training, including written resources and pre-seminar sessions.
Experience leading teams and coaching or mentoring others.
Teaching experience or experience designing and delivering curriculum.
Comfortable with public speaking and facilitation.
