While some roles do require volunteers to have context of how the World Leadership Congress has worked in the past, fresh perspectives and new ideas are what make it possible for this volunteer-run organization to impact ambassadors year over year.

For week-long volunteers, HOBY covers room and board, program expenses, and all meals beginning with dinner on your scheduled arrival date through breakfast on your departure date. 

Week-long volunteers seeking financial assistance will have the opportunity to apply for travel assistance. Depending on the volume of applicants and funds, volunteers may qualify for up to 100% reimbursement.

If you're flying, no need to restrict yourself to budget airlines that charge you for anything beyond a postage envelope's worth of clothes. But to maximize the number of and degree to which we're able to reimburse volunteers, aim for the lowest cost ticket that get you to the WLC with a carry-on bag by your role's arrival date.

For day volunteers, food will be covered during volunteering; however, housing and travel stipends will not be provided.
