《香港Facebook新聞專頁分析報告》收錄本港16間新聞媒體的Facebook專頁數據，並將所收錄到的數據進行統計分析。
The Hong Kong Facebook News Analytics Report (the report) contains data and analyses of the Facebook pages of 16 news media outlets in Hong Kong.
報告是由香港浸會大學傳理學院曾姿穎助理教授帶領的浸大受眾研究（BUAR）團隊編寫而成。團隊由衷感謝大學教育資助委員會優配研究金（計劃編號：1-73126）及香港浸會大學圖書館數碼研究基金（計劃編號：DSG201902）的資助。

「假新聞」分析 | “Fake news” analysis
本報告使用開源工具Synonyms，計算出與「假新聞」相似度最高的詞語（近義詞）包括「謠言」、「惡意」、「造謠」、「不實」、 「捏造」、「騙局」、「蓄意」、「不負責任」、「傳言」、「流言」、「傳聞」、「謠傳」、「假消息」、「陰謀論」、「fake news」和「fakenews」。得出近義詞後，利用正則表達式^在Facebook帖子中檢索這些近義詞，並統計其出現次數。針對本報告的17個新聞媒體專頁於7月份發佈的20,011條帖子進行正則表達式分析，發現其中有422條，即接近2%的帖子的回應涉及「假新聞」的討論。
With the open-source tool Synonyms, we generated a list of synonyms for “fake news,” including rumor (謠言), malicious (惡意), slander (造謠), fake (不實), fabricated (捏造), hoax(騙局), deliberate(蓄意), irresponsible(不負責任), fake stories(傳言), gossip(流言), hearsay(傳聞), bruit(謠傳), disinformation(假消息), conspiracy(陰謀論), “fake news” and “fakenews.” Then we used regex ^ to search these synonyms among the 15,338 posts published by the 16 Facebook pages in January, followed by the number of post occurrences. The analysis revealed that 16 of all the posts collected—contained at least one mention of “fake news.”

- on.cc東網/東方日報、香港经济日报hket.com、晴報Sky Post、有線新聞i-Cable News、Stand News 立場新聞、Bastillepost 巴士的報、獨立媒體inmediahk.net、香港01、PassionTimes熱血時報全部數據缺失。香港蘋果日報於1月2日-27日、29日、31日，am730於1月1日-13日、14日-17日、19日-31日，HKG報 HKGpao於1月1日-22日、24日、26日-27日、29日-31日，Initium Media 端傳媒於1月1日-3日、5日-6日、8日-31日，Now News - 新聞於1月1日-23日、25日-31日，TOPick 新聞於1月1日-20日、22日-27日、29日-31日，明報即時新聞於1月1日-2日，4日-31日，香港電台視像新聞 RTHK VNEWS於1月1日-8日、10日-31日期間的數據有所缺失。
- Due to the way data were collected and restrictions created by the platform itself, data of specific public pages could not be retrieved on certain dates. Hence, there is a discrepancy between the data reported and actual data.
-All the data from On.cc East Net/Oriental Daily News, Hong Kong Economic Times hket.com, Sky Post Sky Post, Cable News i-Cable News, Stand News Stand News, Bastillepost Bus News, independent media inrnediahk.net, Hong Kong 01, PassionTimes Hot Blood Times are missing. Data of Hong Kong Apple Daily on January 2-27, 29, 31, am730 on January 1-13, 14-17, 19-31, HKG reported HKGpao on January 1-22 Sunday, 24, 26-27, 29-31, Initium Media will be on January 1-3, 5-6, 8-31, Now News-News on January 1 & 23, 25-31, TOPick News on January 1-20, 22-27, 29-31, Ming Pao News on January 1-2, 4-31, RTHK VNEWS on January 1-8 and 10-31 were missing.
