Design Thinking workshop for 1st years
A 50 Minutes workshop was conducted for 1st year undergraduates of HITAM. The workshop had challenged teams of 4 to make the most unique outfit using just newspaper and basic stationary items within a fixed time. This activity was aimed at making students realize importance of teamwork, good communication, listening skills and time management.
Village survey, Basurguda village
Basurguda is a village in Medchal 1km away from HITAM. A survey was conducted to understand the water related issues and other issues that the community faced.
Survey to find prospective schools for E-Learning centers
As part of EWB-Hyderabad's mission on creating E-Learning centers. EWB-HITAM has done an extensive survey to find schools for the same, and has found two such schools in D. Pochampally.
Activities to be undertaken:
Feasible recreational projects.
Awareness about community service.
Projects to promote education in backward communities.
Awareness to promote sanitation and conservation of natural resources.
