Solar powered bus-stop

 

Background

From one of the surveys in Kazipet, Medchal district we found out that the area did not had a bus-stop while the buses were routed through that area, this created a problem of uncertainty about exact location of bus station as said by inhabitants.


Solution

We thought of building a bus-stop and sought this opportunity to simultaneously make solar powered lights to lit up its vicinity with other features.

Medicine vending machine to bring automated pharmacy to remote areas

 

Background

Upon survey of Kazipet village we found that the village had a clinic which is visited a doctor but are no doctors available 24/7, more importantly there is no pharmacy and hence no access to medicine and basic first aid supplies.


Solution

We planned to make vending machine for medicines and basic first aid kit supplies. This will be placed in the clinic location itself and will be autonomous so patients can purchase themselves by either paying through cash or making an online transaction on the spot. The patients will be able to show and receive medicines prescribed by that clinic by inserting it in the machine, in addition to that patients can also make normal purchases without a prescription.

Solar Fertilizer Sprayer

 

Background

Farmers carry hefty weight tank on their back and splash the manure by strolling starting with one end then onto the next end. It requires a lot of time to splash the whole field. Due to this, they are getting different medical issues like Respiratory issues, skin sickness, Back torment and so on.


Solution

This solar-powered manure tank is convenient for spreading compost in fields because we included wheels for portability and it also uses solar energy, which is a sustainable source of energy. Moreover, it has three shower heads with separate spouts.

Cowdung Remover

 

Background

Our main aim was to improve the livelihood of farmers, therefore we interacted with few of them. The  primary work for an farmer and cattlemen  in their dairy farm is to clean the excreta and other waste. Due to conventional methods they are facing physical strain and medical issues and alsowasting the excreta of the cow and buffalo. Limited products to help small scale dairy farms is the root cause for this problem.

Solution

As a result we developed  a prototype of mechanical scraper as it is satisfying our objectives. The device is operated using levers. It has a scrapping plate, storage tank and its door connected to levers. When pressure is applied on the lever the scraper pushes the waste into the container and when pressure is released the container’s opening closes. So, the farmer must just push the device and operate the levers. We also planned to introduce other variants whose prototypes have been developed and tested, according to the requirements of the user example: Remote controlled, semi – electronic etc.(This form is limited to mechanical scraper)

UNDER WATER DRONE 

 

Background

When it comes to water pollution, Everyone focuses on the visible pollution on the surface of bodies of water, but not below. But the toxic pollution lies deep inside water bodies. This pollution is called underwater pollution. Light-weighted plastic floats on the surface while Muck and some heavy waste accumulate at the bottom of water bodies. This affects aquatic animals. They pollute water bodies by reducing the water quality and creating a toxic environment for aquatic animals and also causing sedimentation.

Solution

OCTOCLEANER is an underwater robot that can go deep into the water and collect trash from within. Octopus gripping technology used to collect macro trash and Muck cleaner is used to collect microplastic, Muck and organic waste. The robot would descend into the water and hover just above the water bed and start scanning for garbage or muck. Once it spots it, it would stop and pick it up with its hands or the muck cleaner depending on the type of trash it is.

Plant Scanner

 

Background

There are many open lands  filled with various healthy and unhealty plants in our area where no one knows whether it is useful or not.  Each and every plant gives oxygen but each and every plant might not be useful for us.

Solution

Innovating a plant scanner that can give the details of the plant whether it is medicinal/weed/environmental friendly/a waste plant. While the scanning of the plants it will tell the status(whether the plant is healthy or attacked by any disease/insects) of the plant. It will detect the weeds in the land.

Drone Sewage Cleaner

 

Background

 There are many dumping places where  a man can’t or couldn’t bear the smell. Due to this the man's health might get affected .

Solution 

A bot for identifying the sewage and cleans the area without man power(auto/manual).

AI Ambulance

 

Background

Now a days due to traffic ambulance can’t go faster to the hospital if there is an emergency.

Solution

Making of a bluetooth based band which connects through the route maps of the city and the installed traffic signals. If there is an emergency then the band get activates and asks for the route the ambulance goes and connects the traffic signals for  clearing the way faster.
