WORKING PRINCIPLE

EWB HITAM WORKING PRINCIPLE

CHAPTER PRINCIPLE

Welcm

Our Chapter Working Principle is well designed by following all the norms of organizational goals to achieve Vision and Mission. It consists of 8 phases starting from Survey, Picking up Idea, Brainstorming Session, Developing Prototype, Showcasing Product to Stakeholder, Review & Suggestions, Real-time Product and at last To Stakeholder.

As a part of EWB-HITAM members, in order to start any project, we follow 8 stages.

  • Survey Phase:

We interact with the stakeholders on a general discussion basis, where we come to know the problem of the stakeholder, need and demand of problems in the society

  • Picking Up Idea (Idea phase):

After getting to know about the problems faced by our stakeholder, we analyse the problem statement, undergo extensive research and everyone formulates their ideas depending upon their understanding and needs of the problem.

  • Brainstorming Session:

After everyone formulate their ideas, each and everyone present their ideas in front of other EWB-HITAM members, after everyone completes in explaining with their ideas, everyone put down in the piece of paper the main and the effective points which everyone stated during explaining their ideas, after which we sum up all the points and discussion and frame a new idea.

  • Developing Prototype (Prototype phase):

After framing a new idea with the collections of thoughts and effective points stated by everyone, we start working on developing the prototype as a part of proof of concept. Under the guidance of our faculty advisor and with the help of all EWB-HITAM members we start making prototypes with help of readily available materials to develop basic model.

  • Showcasing Product to Stakeholder (Opinion Phase):

After developing a prototype as a proof of concept, we showcase it to the stakeholder and explain the functioning & required parameters to which we tried to solve his/her problem.

  • Review & Suggestion phase:

We try to meet other stakeholders and collect their feedback on the product/solution. Based on the feedback we evaluate if there are any modifications necessary, if so we take two steps back to the prototype phase and redesign to fill the loopholes in the product/solution. When the product or solution meets the standards of the our stakeholders we proceed to the next state.

  • Real-time Product phase:

After the stakeholder is fully satisfied we start converting our prototype into an actual model by making it with actual components.

  • Stakeholder phase:

We delivered the actual model to our stakeholder.
