At my internship I help a lot with the kids, I help them with their work when stuck and take the pressure off of Mrs. Rye especially since she's only one person. I also support the teachers with tasks like copying paper or laminating or other tasks that will add more time to their day. I believe that I am a real help to everyone in my classroom and even to the other 3rd-grade teachers as I help with delivering papers.

At Benchley everyone including the kids was very friendly and welcoming, I remember on my first day nervous, and all of it melted away as soon as I entered the classroom and was greeted by smiles. All of the staff was also really friendly and I was delighted to see some familiar faces from when I used to attend this school. In the photo, I'm helping plant some flowers and plants with groups of kids and they all took turns helping me outside.
