SDTR Residents are in their second year of residency and are the primary teacher of record. They are workign on their masters and teaching in the classroom and are in need of support and guidence. 

Thank you so much for being the most essential part of the residency program. While residents take vital classes, the most authentic learning occurs with you in their daily practice. Thank you for giving so much of your time and heart to nurturing this learning community. 

Please begin your mentor journey by viewing the mentor orientation slides below and be sure to rigister as a mentor Please also see our Welcome Resident Mentors letter for a concise list of requirements. 

Mentor trainings will take place online and will go over mentor requirements and provide tips on how to be an effective and supportive mentor for a new teacher. Please calendar the following meetings.

• September 29th, 2025 4:00-5:00

• October 27th, 2025 4:00-5:00

• February 2nd, 2026 4:00-5:00
