The induction program is for new teachers who already have a Preliminary Teaching Credential and are looking to CLEAR their credential. Therefore, they attend induction improvement groups on a monthly basis. Mentor support for Induction teachers will span the school year providing a minimum of one hour per week of mentoring. There are also three observations during the year. If you are mentoring a teacher going through the induction program please navigate below for important dates, documents, and resources. A recording of our mentor orientation will post by August. 8th.
Mentor Requirements
Please Log Your Weekly Meetings. These are check regularly and critical to providing support for our new teachers
Three observations are scheduled during the 2025/26 school year.
Observation #1 - Due to your mentee by 11/16/26
Observation #2 - Due to your mentee by 1/25/27
Observation #3 - Due to your mentee by 3/26/27

March 1st 2027, (5:30-6:30 pm)
Celebration of Learning: May 10th, 2027 4:45-7:45 *Mentors only need to attend only a portion of the night. Exact time will be provided closer to the event.
