How I see or feel about what I’m going to do beyond High Tech High MA is hard to say, but I’ve learned a lot about work, and mostly manual work. The constant telling of pursuing further education makes me realize that I do not want to work in a manual job all my life, but I do not want to work in an office either. It is hard to say what I’m passionate about or what I really want to do, but I feel like this internship has brought me many steps closer to a career choice. Though I don’t see myself following anyone, I do find a lot of inspiration to follow my dream. The people I met didn’t get a chance due to the decisions they made at an early age, leading to some regrets. However, mistakes build character and challenge improvement. At the end of the day, they are happy with where they are, even if they weren’t able to pursue their dreams. In short, I don’t know what life is going to be like after school, but mistakes are part of the journey. I hope to put in an effort to provide for my family and be happy in the end.
Well, the basics are being respectfully responsible and communicating. But what I feel is the most important thing to take away is a connection. Since if you really want to work there or in that genre, having connections is way better than experience. Getting recommendations and having some already affiliated in the career that you are trying to pursue will help along the way. Another thing is effort; since if you don't put in any, you won't get good results. Without it, you won't really care about what you learned or what you did, making your blog bland and lifeless. Just put in some effort!
